AvaCon Receives 501(c)(3) Status as Public Charity from IRS!

We are extremely pleased to report that AvaCon has officially received tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service as a 5012(c)(3) public charity. This also means contributions and donations to AvaCon are now tax deductible as charitable expenses under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. Further, AvaCon is also now qualified to receive tax deductible bequests and gifts under sections 2055, 2106, and 2522 of the Code.

We thank our many volunteers, staff, sponsors and supporters for their tireless efforts on AvaCon’s behalf as we worked to achieve this recognition!
